The first thing I see when I get off the train at Riomaggiore. It is a beautiful sight! The sparkling Mediterranean!! |
Murals on the walls showing how hard the people of Cinque Terre worked to make this place into what it is today. |
The view from the place I'm staying at - Cinque Terre Holidays |
Loving all the pastel colored houses and buildings! |
Walked around with Dina, whom I met that day because we both checked in around the same time, and just took a ton of pictures. This is Riomaggiore's marina. Dina is from Indonesia. |
Riomaggiore doesn't really have a sandy beach - it's more like rocky/gravel-y beach. But that's good so you won't get sand everywhere! |
Sigh, so pretty!!! |
The water is so clear that you can see the bottom! Even though it's kind of deep, you can still see the bottom! Amazing! And you can see fishes swimming around you! |
All kinds of fruits growing everywhere! Especially grapes! These are just fruit grapes, not grapes for wine! |
And a whole bunch of weird cactus growing everywhere!! |
Olives!!!!! And no, you can't eat it like this. It will taste like shit. Hahahahah. Although I didn't try myself, but I can tell from other's expressions when they've tried it! |
The clock tower of Riomaggiore. This thing woke me up at like 7 in the morning once. |
The office of Cinque Terre Holidays |
Since it is the Pathway of Love, you see locks everywhere on the trail. People have carved their names and dates onto walls and cactus! |
I love Italy!!!! <3 |
Ti Amo <3!! Teehee :) |
The infamous little statue that marks Via dell'Amore! This would be so romantic to walk along at night! :) |
Amazing view! To just sit down here, enjoy a cup of espresso and enjoy life at that moment and as it is right then and there! |
Manarola train station |
This is in Corniglia. |
Okay, Chloe! Another one dedicated to you!!!! :) Hahahaha, fanny.... <3 Gosh, I can't believe I really answered to that. But I love you anyways! |
You can see Manarola from the distance!!! By train, all the towns are about 5 minutes apart! |
This one is named Corniglia - because I saw this kitty cat in that town! :) |
Hehehe, Corniglia is a cutey! |
Awwwwww! |
So cute! |
Waiting at the train station in Corniglia to go to Monterosso, town #5. We decided to skip Vernazza, town #4, cause it was getting late already. |
Monterosso is the only town that has a sandy beach with rent-able chairs and umbrellas. |
Pretty romantic at night since it gets all lighted up. Perfect for an evening stroll after dinner! |
Bright moon that night! |
Ate at this restaurant with Dina! |
I got seafood spaghetti - DELICIOUS! |
And Dina got gnocchi with pesto sauce! |
Hahaha, after we got back to Riomaggiore there was a foam party going on! Funnnnn!!! |
