More traveling and exchanging

A very big temple in Zhubei (竹北)

BIG

Also very pretty!

I like this one c:

Elephant!

BIG and PRETTY. As you can see... I kind of don't have much to say about this temple. Or maybe I just feel like writing too much. I feel like I should write a lot, but I don't want to at the same time. LOL

Yummy place that is famous for their drinks!

I got pearl milk tea! GIGANTIC! Could not finish :( But delicious, because it wasn't too sweet and the pearls were smaller and chewier!

Radish cake! 蘿蔔糕! So good! Extra crispy = extra good!

Nommy nom nom!

Ghost doors open in August. We can't call them ghosts (鬼) in Chinese. We have to call them 好兄弟, basically meaning good brothers. We set out lots of food for them to eat, because they can only come out when the doors open, which is only one month out of the whole year or something.

And here we are praying. We look like little angels! :)

YUM! Oyster pancake!

Me and my Aunt went shopping around Hsinchu city and came across this one guy selling jewelry off the streets. He was definitely gay. Too bad, he was really good looking and super nice too! But we bought some rings from him and he gave us discounts! His name is Johnson!

東門城 at night!

Earrings I got from Johnson!

Rings I got from Johnson! This was so cool. It's actually three rings but they can go together or you can wear them separately!

Met up with one of Brian's friends! Alex! Another friend exchange! :) Went to go shoot some pool with him! He is SUPER good! I could only beat him a handful of times out of the many games we played. I also probably only got lucky... haha. But DANG. He's really good!

Super nice too! :)

The next day, met up with Brian's sister! Family exchange! Hahahaha. Went to go eat at this Japanese restaurant!

Serena!! :) Also super nice! And she's a working girl already! Haha, really interesting to talk to! I feel so lucky to have been able to meet these wonderful people! :)
