travelsies: Hsinchu Girls!

Once again, the Malaysian brought goodies over to us that they made. Delicious cookies!

太陽餅!!! Yummm! I really love this stuff! They made it pretty good!

Some kind of cheesy bread that was just.... eh. Not bad, but not great either.

Cream puffs fill with cream and mangos. Didn't get to try this. I was toooo full by that time.

This was some kind of mango jelly and mousse with cream. Also didn't try this. Too much sweets in one night for me! No bueno!

If you can guess where this is, I'll give you $1.00! :) Hahaha

I really wanted to try this restaurant that was right next to my grandparents place in Hsinchu. But they were booked up! :( I should have called and reserved first. Oh well, NEXT TIME!

So then we decided to go try Mensa (慢食堂)

Mainly served western style dishes. Really pricey though.

I got lasagna. Pretty good, except it was too sweet? Why would they make lasagna sweet? O_o

This one was reallllly good. My mom got this one. It was pasta with clams and covered with pesto sauce. I LOVE pesto sauce!!! :)

As I was walking back to the train station to go back to Ta Hwa, I stopped by the night market. First time I went to a night market in Hsinchu!! How come this was never here before?

Got sucked into playing this kiddie dart game because I saw one of the prizes was a cute little whistle. So I just had to play and get that whistle because I needed a whistle for Italy. For whenever someone tries to steal anything of mine! It was a win-win situation! :)
