我愛台灣! 台灣愛我!

台灣
We came to this elementary school where some of the students from Ta Hwa were teaching them Japanese. We didn't do  much so we just basically chilled with the little kiddos who were so interested in where we were from. Haha, kids are too cute! :)

This was my little group of kids! The boy was such a troublemaker! Tsk tsk, but all the girls were good! I especially liked Joy (the one wearing the black & white checkered shirt). She was so shy and sweet!

School lunch at the elementary school. The boy in our group scarfed this whole lunch down in like...5 minutes. Not even kidding. I was like...how come you eat so much but you're still so little? Hahaha. The chicken tasted like chicken nuggets.

Learning Japanese. Although I already kinda know this stuff. But it was a good refresher! :)

開心紅豆餅! So good! Red bean cake. But they have so many different flavors too! Like taro, sesame, sweet potatoes, butter cream, chocolate. Yumm yumm! This place is so popular in Chonglin that people will order them online and there's always a line there!

OM NOM NOM! :9

Ummm, I just had to take a picture of this Sponge Bob because I thought it was THE cutest Sponge Bob face ever! TEEHEE :]

Making Hakka flowers all day long. All day errrrday!!!

Yep, so the entire day at work. We made these flowers. We had to cut out petals, glue petals together. I made 5 because I'm awesome like that and then decided to keep one to give to my grandma! This was the first one I made and the one I decided to keep!
Another one I made! I wanted to keep this one too!

I'm so good! They are so pretty. I want to keep all of them!!!

So I went to go hang with my mom and her friend. Her friend has this house in New Beitou (新北投). That area is known for their natural hot springs. So her house has two private hot spring spas! And they get the water straight from the mountains. It was soooo nice! So relaxing! Then after the spa, ate some midnight snacks, drank Taiwan beer and watched TV! Life is good like this! :)

Here's one of the spa's! I was probably in there for a good 30 minutes. Just soaking up all that goodness! It has a milky substance in the water too which is supposed to be good for your body, forgot what it was called, but that's why it's looks milky.

Hmmm, Taiwan beer draft! So good! I drank this whole bottle by myself! Hollla! :P So refreshing to drink a nice cold beer after a hot spa!

Eating rice flat noodles (粄條)  at this really good restaurant in Chonglin. It's called 榕樹下. And I think these are the best 粄條 I have ever ate! For reals!

Stinky Tofu! 臭豆腐! Also reaaaally good at 榕樹下

Visiting the Thermal Valley (地熱谷) at 新北投. Once you get to this area, you'll smell the sulphur because of the natural hot springs. That's how you know it's good! At least it isn't too strong, you get used to it like in 5 minutes.

Yea yea yea!

See all that steam!!! Supar Hot!

Me and Momma!

Steam steam smelly smelly.

Pound it! Snail! Haha. 蝸牛!

It was especially smelly here in this area, so that's why I'm not smiling with my mouth open. Ughhhh

Yes, I realized I took a lot of pictures of the steaminess!

Pretty flower
